It’s official! Pocket money’s on the rise...

Goldfish interviewed 1,000 kids from all over the UK. They found that how much pocket money you get depends a lot on where you live.

Kids in Wales are best off, receiving an average of £8.40 per week. Parents in the south fork out the least cash, giving their kids only £4.91 a week!

SPEND OR SAVE?

Kids would rather spend than save. According to the survey, kids from the Midlands are the most prudent. A whopping 28% of them put their money into a savings account.

Meanwhile, kids in the North East are at the bottom of the saver’s league. Only 9% of these big spenders squirrel away their hard-earned cash!
