OINK! MEETS FEARNE COTTON
Shunning the typical celebrity lifestyle, TV and radio personality Fearne Cotton will be going without food, for 24 hours as she raises money for the children of Chennai, India whilst taking part in the UK’s largest youth fundraising event, the World Vision 24 Hour Famine.
Fearne told OINK!, “Recently I went with World Vision to Chennai, India to visit the projects where they’re working to make a difference to lives of hundreds of children who live in poverty. That just made me realise how lucky I was as a child and how much I took for granted. Seeing these children living on the street who have nothing but the clothes on their back, really brought home to me how lucky we are in the UK and how many inequalities there are in the world.
