OINK! met the twins who were runners-up in Big Brother and secured almost 40% of the public vote. Sam and Amanda are the bubbly and much-loved twosome of Samanda, and are the faces of the new Barbie Girls MP3 player. The 19 year olds have both already made their first million!!

How much pocket money did you get when you were younger?
S&A: £5 per week, which was pretty reasonable compared to what friend were getting. You always want more!

Did you get more or less than your siblings/friends?
S&A: We got the same as our little sister. We were always treated equally which was really nice.

Were you better at spending or saving?
A: I was always good at saving as I wanted to be a banker when I grew up.!
S: I was always spending! I just wanted to buy clothes all the time!

What did you save your money in?
S&A: When we did actually save, we got a savings account – dead grown up!

What did you spend your pocket money on?
S&A:We’d always buy things like groovy chick dolls and Barbie dolls - oh, and groovy chick bed covers!

Did you ever ask for a raise?
S&A: We always asked if we could get more pocket money but it never worked. Mum wouldn’t give it to us! What was the most expensive item you ever bought with your pocket money?

What was the most expensive item you ever bought with your money?
S: The most expensive thing I bought with my pocket money was a Barbie car! It was sooooo cool! Love it!
A: And I bought a Barbie house! It was gorgeous!

When did you open your first bank account and why?
S&A: We both had a bank account at 10 as mum said we should have one.

Do you have any money or savings tips for OINK! readers?
S&A: Our best bit of advice would be to save up all your coppers over the year in a big jar and then take it to the bank! So then you can buy your Christmas pressies! Yay!
