SW: £3 a week.

SW: Less... Everyone else got £3 per day!

SW: Spending!

SW: A bottle.

What did you spend your pocket money on?
SW: When I was younger... lots of sweets! I didn’t have a computer so I spent my money in the arcades. I was addicted to games like Street Fighter, Space Vaders and Pac-Man.

Did you ever ask your parents for a raise?
SW: Yes!

How much did you ask for?
SW: I ?asked for £3 a day, like my friends.

Did you get it?
SW:
No, they said if I wanted to earn extra pocket money I would have to get a paper round!

What was the most expensive item you ever bought with your pocket money?
SW: When I was younger I saved up and bought ‘Skeletor’ because I couldn’t afford ‘He-Man’.

When did you open your first bank account and why?
SW: I had my first savings account when I was 7, because my mum told me it was wise to save!

Do you have any money or savings tips for OINK! readers?
SW: Yes! When you get a pound, save 50 pence. Get used to putting half away.
